Nice to see the old launch site on TV on Friday (1st April) as part of Kate Humble’s Coastal Walk.
The satellite put into orbit from there was the first and only one to date.
I had a bit of a hand in it.
I must say that as a beacon on 144mhz, it still can be heard from it if you are lucky to be in the right place at the right time.
