Live music from five bands in free concert held in the award-winning surroundings of Ventnor Park

Later this month five bands will come together to perform at a concert to raise funds for a local charity that supports those affected by cancer.

PATCH in the Park takes place on Sunday 22nd May from noon onwards in the award-winning surroundings of Ventnor Park. Entry is free and you’re encouraged to take along a blanket and/or chairs to sit on.

The line-up
Organised by Matt Dodge, the five bands playing for your entertainment will include:

  • The Slow Cats
  • WatEvva
  • Lucan and the Beatbuddy
  • The Yabba Family Folk Four Piece Band
  • The Bohemians

Refreshments will be available from Tea in the Park. If the weather is anything like it was last Sunday, it’ll be a wonderful afternoon.

What is PATCH?
PATCH (People’s Approach to Cancer Help) is a registered charitable trust (No. 900203) that helps those facing financial problems caused by cancer and its treatments.

Erika Arnold, one of the founders, said,

“Money raised locally stays local by helping to fund travel for cancer treatments for our friends and residents.

“The essence of PATCH is a community helping itself.”
