If you’re planning to be in Newport with the kids next Saturday and fancy something a bit different from the norm, why not pop into Waterstones book shop in the afternoon.
They are hosting a free event with local authors Joseph Daniels and Maria Hamblet, who will be acting out short stories from their kids book, The Tales Of Darius Sedgewick.
Should be fun for the nippers and gets you (and them) out of the sun for a while.
