Nicky Rawlence, a parent of a pupil at St Catherine’s School in Ventnor, is putting her best foot forward in a sponsored walk from Clapham, to St Catherine’s.
Nicky hopes to complete the 100 mile walk in a week and is aiming to raise £5,000 in sponsorship. Nicky will set out from Clapham on Friday 9 September and would be delighted to have support along the way.

Wanting to give something back
Nicky’s daughter, Ella, has learning difficulties and a severe speech & language disorder, she has attended St Catherine’s School for the past three years.
Nicky is so impressed with the team at St Catherine’s and Ella’s achievements since starting there, that she wanted to give something back, despite being the first to admit that she is not the fittest of people, Nicky has decided to take the time and make the effort to walk from Clapham to Ventnor to raise money for St Catherine’s.
Nicky would like to thank all those that have sponsored her as well as the local businesses, including Andrew Palmer at the Priory Bay Hotel, that have very kindly supported her endeavor.
