Labour Newport councillor, Geoff Lumley has proposed a motion for the full council meeting next week.
It concerns the council’s One Island magazine which is distributed in the CP every other month.
VB readers will be remember the recent VB articles regarding the costs of producing the magazine (more to come on the breakdown of costs in the week).
Cllr Lumley is asking for the magazine to be produced biannually rather than monthly.

Council welcomes the Secretary of State for Communities and Local Government’s measures to curtail Council’s spending money on “glossy propaganda magazines”.
Council resolves to embrace wholeheartedly these measures and agrees to reduce publication of ‘One Island’ to biannually.
