The combined choirs of Cor Meibion Tywi and Newchurch Male Voice Choir produced a rich and balanced sound to a very large and appreciative audience last Saturday evening (26th April) at St. Saviours Church, Shanklin.

An American Trilogy; My Lord What a Morning; Morte Criste and Gwahoddiad & Rachie (both sung in welsh) to round off the evening, were loudly applauded.

A sum of £420 was raised from the retiring collection for the ‘Isle of Wight Association for Spinabifida and Hydrocephalus’ which is the preferred charity being supported by the Newchurch Male Voice Choir during 2014.

The joint choirs would like to thank all who attended the concert for their valued support and to all who helped publicise the event.
