The 35 year old man from East Cowes, charged with kidnap, rape, grievous bodily harm, following the report of a serious sexual assault on an 18 year old woman in Niton last week has appeared in court today (Monday) and been remanded in custody on the Isle of Wight.
He has been remanded in custody to appear at Isle of Wight Crown Court on November 7.
Police are appealing to anyone with information in relation to this case to call police on 101, quoting Operation Ski.
