Manage your finances better by signing up for Ryde’s free financial wellbeing workshops

Ryde Town Council is inviting Isle of Wight residents to attend a free Financial Wellbeing Session aimed at helping people take control of their finances and plan for a secure future.

The sessions, open to everyone, will cover budgeting and tracking spending, understanding credit and credit scores, savings, pensions and investments, and building financial resilience.

Two sessions available
Two sessions are available on Monday 23rd February 2026:

  • 11am–12.30pm at No.11 St Thomas’ (the former NatWest building)
  • 1.30pm–3pm at Oakfield Food Pantry, Oakfield C of E Primary School, Appley Road.

Positive feedback from previous participants
The sessions are funded by The Money Charity, whose recent workshops have received strong feedback, with 94 per cent of participants reporting they can now manage their money well or very well.

One participant said,

“I was able to ask questions I was worried about. It was a very informative session which I would recommend.”

Another commented,

“We weren’t shamed for not having the best money habits. It was very accessible.”
