Marvel in these HD photos of a friendly seal visiting the Isle of Wight

Here on the Isle of Wight we are blessed with regular sightings of all sorts of wonderful wild and marine life, such as dolphins and white-tailed eagles.

Islander James Blackwood has very kindly shared these beautiful photos of a friendly seal he spotted earlier this week.

He took these photos from his RIB, but James told News OnTheWight that,

“I’ve had one pay an interest in hitching a ride on my paddle board.”

We think it’s a common seal (please let me know me if I’ve got it wrong) and judging by the photos, it almost looks like it’s posing for the camera.
