Lee GibsonEase into Sunday with our relaxing choice of musical brunches that will be taking places at various venues around Ventnor. On the menu will be late breakfast and/or lunch together with brilliant live music.

The Spyglass on the Esplanade, The Crab and Lobster Tap on Grove Road, the Marquee and Pond Cafe in Bonchurch will all be playing host, so please make a date with us for a lazy Sunday brunch in some very good company.

Lee Gibson & the Leon Simmonds Trio
12:00 – 14:00, the Marquee. £5 or £15 incl. brunch
Internationally-acclaimed jazz vocalist Lee Gibson joins the Leon Simmonds Trio (a combo of piano, double bass and drums) for two hours of easy-listening jazz standards and mellow ballads.

Enjoy a glass of sparkling wine or buck’s fizz or orange juice plus a bagel with smoked salmon or crispy bacon (vegetarian option also available) and a selection of small Danish pastries, plus tea or coffee for £15. Alternatively you can just listen to the music for £5. Advanced booking is advised as places are limited. The Hillmans
12:00 – 14:00, the Boathouse / Spyglass Inn
Rock and blues are flavour of the day with the Hillmans, led by Tony Minx and featuring special guest guitarist Dick Taylor from The Pretty Things and who was also a founding member of the Rolling Stones. The band will be performing two one-hour sets, starting at midday.
