Mystery and Imagination At Seaview Art Gallery

Thanks to Sally from Seaview Art Gallery for letting us know about this opportunity to see and buy work by sixth form students. Ed

Suitcase artOn Saturday 24th of September Seaview Gallery will be completely transformed from our usual maritime landscape gallery to a wonderful world of mystery and imagination.

All the work in the gallery will be the exam pieces or course work by the AS students of the newly formed Isle of Wight 6th form college in Newport and will remain in the gallery until 1st October.

The young ladies and gentleman who have produced this week are fifteen and sixteen years old and are very excited about showing their work for the first time.

The gallery will be taking no commission for ourselves throughout the week but will be taking ten percent of the sales and donating it to a charity called The Hoping Foundation which supports Palestinian children and refugees.

All the pieces will range from £20 to £80 so would also make excellent Christmas presents for young people who are looking for young affordable original art.
