Congratulations to Islander Nathan McGinty who last weekend went through with his promise of having his locks cut off for charity.
Nathan had been growing his hair since the beginning of the year with the intention of donating it to The Little Princess Trust, a charity that makes wigs for children who have lost their hair through treatment of cancer.
As you can see from the pics below, Nathan had a pretty health head of hair on Friday night, but by Saturday morning, he was stripped of his locks and now sports a dashing close crop.
The bundles of hair will make their way to the charity along with the £500 raised during the event.
Well done Nathan, perhaps your actions might spur others to do the same.
The Little Princes Trust is a fantastic cause and well worth sacrificing a head of hair for.
