National Trust Winter Walk

If you enjoy winter walks, why not join the National Trust warden for a walk through Borthwood next month.

National Trust Winter WalkDays like today, although cold are great for walking on the Wight, with the clear skies and crisp air, but hopefully it may be a little warmer in four weeks time.

The walk will be steady, observing plants, wildlife and woodland management as you go.

Be aware that it may be wet and muddy underfoot and there are some slopes, so appropriate footwear is advised.

Only assistance dogs allowed.

Meet in the public car park Alverstone Road, Apse Heath SZ 566 843 at 10am

Taking part will only cost £2.50 (including NT members).

If you do go along, don’t forget to say where you heard about it.
