Leading environmental technology company, Vikoma International Limited, has strengthened its senior management team with the appointment of Guy Downie as Sales and Marketing Director.
Vikoma, which is part of Aberdeen head-quartered Energy Environmental Group, leads the world in the design manufacture and installation of oil spill containment and recovery equipment. The business has a global reputation for the development of innovative, high performance products to deal with the full range of oil spill scenarios.
Bringing leadership, experience and professionalism
The company says Mr Downie will bring a valuable mixture of leadership, experience and professionalism in driving future growth.
Mr Downie joins the company from Freudenberg Oil & Gas where he was European Sales Director. Prior to this he worked for six years at Trelleborg Offshore, most recently in the role of Vice President for the Offshore Construction Group.
He will assume direct leadership for regional sales managers, internal market support and sales administration functions. In addition, Mr Downie will be responsible for Vikoma’s global agency network.
