New Autism Website Launched

Congratulations to the Isle of Wight branch of The National Autistic Society (NAS) who this week have launched a super new Website.

New Autism Website LaunchedThe site hopes to provide a place where those affected by autism can gather information, help and advice.

There’s all manner of information on the site, not only details of how you ca access help and and support on the Island, but also branch news, events such as coffee mornings, support groups, fundraising events and autism-friendly cinema screenings around the Island.

There’ll also be so interesting and exciting things for young people with autism to do on the site, as it will feature lots of social stories and games.

NAS Isle of Wight Branch Web Team co-ordinator, Gillian Elsom (pictured above) said “We are really excited with the new website and we hope to keep our members updated and entertained with news stories and interactive features. Autism is much more common than most people think and it affects each person in a different way. Therefore, we have made the site accessible to as many people as possible by adding features such as the option for extra large text and the website is speech enabled meaning that it is read out loud to the user.”

The site is now live, so what are you wating for? Go check it out
