The New Forest Lapland ‘experience’ of Xmas last year switched from a local story to massive National story within the blink of an eye.
Over 42,000 advance tickets were sold, netting £1,261,056 and many of them complained that it didn’t deliver what was hoped for.
The man behind it, Victor Mears, was today in front of the creditors at Southampton’s Novotel Hotel. They were, not surprisingly, a little peeved.
Comments from Victor Mears like, “It was a success by mere virtue of the fact that people spent over a million pounds on it,” as reported by the Daily Echo are unlikely to have calmed the situation down.
