Pan Together, the charity which exists to support and provide a community hub for the residents of East Newport, is launching its new Warm Space on Thursday 12th January 2023.
Going forward, this will be open from 9am to 3pm each Thursday and Friday in the IT Room at Downside Community Centre, Furrlongs, Newport, PO30 2AX.
Thomson: Turn off your heating and come and use ours instead
Rachel Thomson, Community Centre Manager, said,
“As the cost of living crisis bites harder for so many, our Warm Space is based on a simple idea: turn off your heating and come and use ours instead.
“Everyone’s invited – young and old. There’ll be a warm welcome, friendly chat, refreshments and plenty of things to do – as well as the chance to socialise and meet new people.”
