The Newchurch Male Voice Choir supports all the services and staff who work for Dementia patients on the Isle of Wight by presenting concerts to raise funds for the various units involved.
This year the little known Admiral Nurses are the chosen unit to receive the support.
These specialist Dementia Nurses provide life-changing support for not only the patients, but also their families, whatever the form of Dementia, including Alzheimer’s.
Where and when
The choir will be presenting a concert on Friday 4th October at 7.30pm in the Shanklin Methodist Church, Regent Street, Shanklin, PO37 7AF.
Guest artists will be Double Take (twin sister duo) and Richard Knowles (Baritone).
Free entry with a retiring collection
This is free entry but with a retiring collection.
Singing brings much pleasure to Dementia suffers and the Choir is very proud to be able to assist in a small way to all the efforts made to make sufferers lives more comfortable.
