After setting off at 9am on Sunday 3rd July, nine-year-old Charlotte White has managed to cycle a marathon in aid of the Isle of Wight branch of the Cats Protection in just under four hours (not including breaks for ice cream!).
Didn’t give up
She found some parts of the challenge quite tricky, but did not give up, despite feeling quite tired and sore just over half-way through and is very proud of what she has achieved.
Charlotte is autistic and attends St Catherine’s School in Ventnor, she loves being outside and loves cats so this challenge was perfect for her.
Not the first challenge completed
Last year Charlotte walked 26.5 miles for charity.
