Island Line Train at Shanklin

No Island Line service for 10 hours on Wednesday due to staff sickness

Island Line will not be running between 09:00 and 19:00 on Wednesday 7th September 2022, due to staff sickness.

For those who rely on the train service, a rail replacement bus service will be provided during these hours between Ryde Esplanade and Shanklin.

Bus up the Pier
A separate minibus shuttle has been requested to run between Ryde Pierhead and Ryde Esplanade.

The government has decreed that UK cars will be all electric by the middle of the century.

That then requires that every house MUST have an overnight parking space in order to charge them.

All new build houses therefore should be obliged to provide this, surely an essential part of an eco island.
