Tony is just coming up to his seventh year in Ventnor and has extended his range considerably over that time.

Something you may not know, is that as part of his drive to provide great customer service, Tony will deliver within Ventnor to any of his customers who can’t make it down to the shop. Clearly a valuable service for those less able to get down from the outskirts of town.

So what’s in the shop? Well, apart from the obvious of fresh meat of all cuts and descriptions, Norris & Knight also stock award winning sausages of many varieties.

Opposite the meat counter you’ll find fresh local produce ranging from vegetables, chutneys and jams to The Village Nursery’s excellent pickled Samphire.

The deli counter stocks a huge range of cheeses, including Isle of Wight Blue. They have all the typical deli fayre, olives, smoked fish, cold meats etc and now also run a large range of shop baked pasties, scotch eggs, pizza, fish pies and cottage pies all baked in the shop with meats from the meat counter.

Tony now also carries a range of fresh fish from Thursdays through to Saturdays.

Tony believes it’s important to listen to what the customer wants so only stocks what he know will sell. If he isn’t carrying something you need, just let him know and he’ll be able to get it in within a couple of days. Don’t forget you can pre-order all your meats and poultry for Christmas.

From experience, the meats from Norris & Knight are far more superior to that offer in the supermarkets. By using their services, you’ll be helping to support local business and keep the High Street alive.
