Not-So-Silent Night festive concert brings Christmas music to Isle of Wight

The Medina Marching Band, who have been chosen to take part in the highly acclaimed London Parade (New Year’s Day Parade), are extremely proud to be representing the Isle of Wight, is also delighted to announce its festive musical celebration, the “Not-So-Silent Night” Christmas Concert, taking place on Friday 5th December at Christ the King College, Newport.

This year’s concert brings together performers from across the band’s growing musical community. Audiences will enjoy a heart-warming and high-energy evening featuring our talented Sunday Morning Music Development Band learners, who will showcase the progress and passion they’ve built since September.

The programme will also highlight the band’s highly respected Corps of Drums, known for their precision, discipline, and electrifying presence.

The evening will feature

  • Full-band Christmas medleys and festive favourites
  • Performances by the Sunday Morning Music Development Band learners
  • A dynamic showcase from the celebrated Corps of Drums
  • Full-band and solo features from Medina’s talented musicians

The “Not-So-Silent Night” Christmas Concert has become a regular addition to the band’s calendar, welcoming all ages to begin the festive season with music, celebration, and community spirit. Guests are encouraged to arrive early for the best seating.

Event Details
The “Not-So-Silent Night” Christmas Concert by Medina Marching Band takes place on Friday 5th December, 7.30pm (Doors open 7pm) at Christ the King College, Newport, Isle of Wight.

Tickets are £10 per person and can be purchased online.
