If you’re a friend or parent of a young person with learning disabilities, how about treating them to a great day out either tree climbing or learning Bushcraft skills.
Those lovely people over at Goodleaf Tree Climbing are bringing back their brilliant Special Branch tree climbing sessions for 10-18 year olds with disabilities this weekend.
The sessions take place this Saturday between 10am and 12pm and then 12.30pm to 2pm. Check Events OnTheWight for more details.
Bushcraft skills day
Next Tuesday, the experienced team will return to Brighstone Forest to teach young people how to build a shelter in the woods, cook over a campfire and heaps of other great woodland stuff. Check Events OnTheWight for more details.
Both activities are very reasonably priced and can bring great physical and mental advantages to young people with disabilities.
