Over £2,000 raised for Freshwater Skatepark through community-driven event

The Freshwater community came together in an extraordinary display of solidarity and support at the Freshwater Memorial Hall this week, hosting an event that was both a celebration of local talent and a fundraiser for the much-anticipated Freshwater Skatepark.

The evening featured the thrilling adventure film “Savage Waters,” captivating the audience with tales of daring and exploration.

Adding to the ambiance, local teenage sensation Martha Eggleton and friends and the renowned rock band Hashtag performed, filling the hall with vibrant music and energy.

£2,000 raised
The event also saw a raffle and an online auction with prizes generously donated by local businesses, showcasing the strong community spirit and support for the skatepark project.

Through ticket sales, raffles, and auctions, £2,000 was raised towards the skatepark, marking a significant step forward in bringing the project to life.
