Pan Together launch new project to help residents get back into work

Pan Together, the charity which exists to support and provide a community hub for the residents of East Newport, has received generous grant-funding from both Sovereign Housing Association, and the Island’s Adult Community Learning team, to run free weekly drop-in sessions from 9am to 3pm every Wednesday, starting on 4th May 2022.

You’ll be made very welcome
Rachel Thomson, Pan Together’s Community Centre Manager, said,

“Anyone who’s wanting to brush up their skills or get help with their CV should come along.  People who are thinking about returning to work after a break should join us and we’ll also be offering guidance about making effective job applications.

“We’ll be very happy to help and/or give advice and support during our friendly and informal sessions.

“No booking is required, so do pop along and you’ll be made very welcome.”

Where and when
The sessions will take place in the IT Room at Downside Community Centre, Furrlongs, Newport, PO30 2AX from 9am to 3pm every Wednesday, starting on 4th May.
