Paralympian hand cyclist, Rachel Morris, to compete on the Island

Alan Bennett from Vectis Roads Cycling Club (VRCC) confirms today that world champion hand cyclist, Rachel Morris, will be taking part in a ten mile time trial on the Isle of Wight on Saturday 4th May.

The time trial is part of a three day festival of cycling being organised by VRCC.

Saturday 4th sees competitors tackle the ten mile time trial. Sunday 5th will host a 25 mile time trial and Monday 6th May sees the most determined compete in the 50 mile time trial.

Keen cyclists amongst you may already know of Rachel, who raced for Team GB in the London 2012 Paralympics.

Her hard work earned her a bronze medal, which joined many more medals, including golds from previous Paralympics.
