Party on the Green returns to Ryde later this month

Ryde Rotary’s annual major fundraising event Party on the Green that is taking place at Eastern Gardens, Ryde on Saturday 30th July from midday to 6pm.

Traditionally this has been a three-day event, but having had to cancel 2020 and 2021 due to Covid it was felt appropriate to hold a one-day event this year and build up again to three days in future years.

Party on the Green - Children's entertainment

There will be a programme of arena acts, including Ryde Carnival, Island Dance Studio, David Randini (children’s entertainer), Bloodstone Border Morris Dancers, Geoff Giles (singer/guitarist).

As well as all those, there’ll be face painting, children’s games, rides, donkeys from the Donkey Sanctuary, tombola, craft stalls, barbecue including veggie options and tea tent serving teas, coffees, soft drinks and homemade cakes.
