Paul Sivell, Island chain-saw carver: High praise from The Fareham Society

Thanks to Debbie Capon for sharing this good news from Island artist, Paul Sivell. Ed

Paul Sivell, chain-saw carver extraordinaire, has been garnered praise and awarded a design of excellence certificate by The Fareham Society for his two sculptures at Stubbington Park and Holly Hill Woodland Park, Fareham.

Fareham Borough Council’s Principal Tree Officer, Paul Johnston, attended the ceremony last week to receive the awards and gave the society a presentation on the sculptures and their contribution to the park’s strategy.

Both sculptures, designed and sculptured by Paul Sivell, of The Carved Tree, have proved a great success for the Council.
