The man trapped was freed from the car just after 9am this morning
The Isle of Wight Fire and Rescue Service tell OnTheWight they are attending an incident on Bleak Down (just south of The Chequers pub) where one person is trapped in their car.
They were called by the ambulance service at 7.47am to the location just outside Rookley.
No other cars are thought to be involved.
