The UK Government has now officially been told by the Israeli authorities that happily no-one of the British people on-board the Free Gaza flotilla have been killed as the ships were boarded by Israeli security forces.
Foreign Secretary William Hague has been told that 31 British Nationals and 11 with Dual nationality that were on the flotilla have been detained in Israel.
Previously the Foreign Office confirmed that one Briton was injured and has received medical treatment.
There’s no specific information about Island-resident Peter Venner who was on-board the Mavi Marmara.
