I cannot understand why petrol is this dear at the moment. Oil prices are have been falling lately and is just below $100 a barrel which is the lowest for over 6 months. The last time it was that price, petrol (un-leaded) was between 95p and £1 per litre. So why is it over a £1 a litre?

The price of petrol was steadily increasing whilst the public and media were distracted by the MP expenses scandal. Maybe the media need to concentrate now on this petrol price scandal!!!
