Phoenix Choir sing for the Air Ambulance

Thanks to Robin for sharing details of this upcoming concert in aid of the Air Ambulance. Ed

The Phoenix Choir will be singing in aid of Hampshire and Isle of Wight Air Ambulance at a special concert on Saturday 17th November at St John’s Church, Ryde. The performance starts at 7.30pm. There will be a retiring collection.

After their Musical Director, Robin Burnett, suffered a heart attack in June and was flown by Air Ambulance helicopter to QA Hospital Cosham, the members of the choir decided that they wished to perform as a token of appreciation in aid of the charity – which is totally reliant on public donations.

Show your support for the Air Ambulance
Robin has now recovered and will be leading the choir that evening in a selection of well-known songs ‘From Pavarotti to Presley’.

He and the choir hope that you will support this special event and the invaluable service provided by HIOWAA.

There will be an Air Ambulance stall, raffle and teas/coffees will be available.
