Plans for new homes just outside Newport open for public comments

Plans have been submitted to the Isle of Wight council for three new detached homes on Noke Common, Newport.

The new dwellings are proposed for what is being described as brownfield land between 59 And 71 Noke Common.

Currently a stable sits on the site, which would be demolished to make way for the new homes.

Design in keeping with area
Ben Hollis of Hollis Design explains the three dwellings, each with attached garages, have been designed to similar scale and appearance of other dwellings within Noke Common and the wider area.

Ecology assessments have found no evidence of nesting birds, badger setts, bats, reptiles and amphibians on the site, but bat boxes will be added to the rear of the new homes.
