Great news if you haven’t got your veggies in yet and were planning to buy seedlings this week.
We see on the Ventnor Permaculture Group Blog that they are holding a plant and seed sale/swap at the Ventnor Community Cafe (3 Albert St, Ventnor) this coming Saturday between 10:30am – 1pm.
This is a great opportunity to pick up some cheap flower and vegetable plants, seedlings or seeds.
If you’re an horticultural newbie, fear not, there’ll be plenty of expert gardeners on hand to advise on exactly what you do.
Come and have a chat about gardening with us over a cup of coffee and some home-made cake.
Ventnor Community Cafe
For those who haven;t visited it before, the community cafe is open every Saturday between 10:30am and 1pm.
It’s a great place to meet friends over a cup of tea of coffee and homemade cake.
There’s also an internet cafe and always lots of local produce on sale.
