Police appeal after Go Kart stolen in Sandown

Police investigating a burglary at an amusement park in Sandown are trying to identify two youths seen with a Go Kart in Perowne Way at around 8.50pm on Tuesday, April 9.

The owner of Sandham Rides in Fort Street, Sandown reported a break-in to police on Wednesday, April 10, when they discovered that the store used to house their petrol driven Go Karts has been broken into and one of the karts removed. The Go Kart was a red Delta Series 2 marked with a number “1”.

Suspects in mid-late-teens
The missing Go Kart was recovered later that day by the owner in after he found it in Perowne Way.
Witnesses described the two young men they had seen with the Go Kart as white and in their mid to late teens.
