Police appeal following road rage incident

Witnesses are being sought after a report of road rage on the Isle of Wight.

A 31-year-old man from the Isle of Wight was attempting to drive onto the Tesco roundabout on Brading Road near Ryde on Monday September 24, 2012 at around 8.45am when it’s alleged another car pulled up in front of him preventing him from moving forward.

The driver of the second car is accused of leaving his vehicle, shouting abuse and being aggressive before attacking the victim’s car.

Man arrested
A 41-year-old man from the Isle of Wight was arrested and is on police bail until October 11, 2012 pending further enquiries.
