Police Appeal For Information Relating to Woman’s Death

An update on the tragic story of a young woman who was found dead earlier this year.

Police Appeal For Information Relating to Woman's DeathPolice tell us that four people who were arrested over a suspicious death in Ryde back in June remain on bail today.

Jayne Louise Robinson, aged just 37, was found in a flat in West Street on 23 June. Although her death is not being treated as suspicious, Police are appealing for help from the public.

An investigation by the Isle of Wight Priority Crime Unit (PCU) are keen to hear of any information relating to the circumstances surrounding Jayne’s death. If you know anything that could help, please see contact details below.

Four on bail
Three people were originally arrested, but Police tell us that five people have been arrested during the course of enquiries so far, with four remaining on bail on suspicion of being concerned in the supply of a class A drug.

A 44-year-old man from Ryde, Isle of Wight remains on bail until October 20, 2010 pending further enquiries.

A 38-year-old woman from Ryde, Isle of Wight remains on bail until October 20, 2010 pending further enquiries.

A 50-year-old man from Ryde, Isle of Wight remains on bail until October 20, 2010 pending further enquiries.

Updated 21/09/10: A 52-year-old man from Sandown, Isle of Wight answered bail yesterday (Monday, September 20, 2010). He was re-bailed until November 4, 2010 pending further enquiries.

A 46-year-old man from Ryde, Isle of Wight was released from bail with no further action.
