Police investigate after car collides with porch in Sandown

Witnesses are being sought by police investigating a road traffic collision in Sandown on the Isle of Wight.

On Friday, September 21, 2012 at around 2:50am, a blue Peugeot 106 collided with a porch at an address on The Broadway in Sandown.

Collided with the front porch
Investigating officer PC Laura Cade said: “It is believed the car was travelling along Avenue Road and made a right turn at the roundabout onto the Broadway. It then collided with the front porch of a house on the opposite side of the road.

“Witnesses have told police there were a number of people in the car. They are alleged to have left the collision scene a short time later.”

Description
They were described as:

> Three men aged in their late teens and early 20s.
> They were wearing dark clothing.

Also seen was a woman aged in her late teens to early 20s, wearing a light coloured top and trousers.

She had long blonde hair.
