Police are appealing for witnesses after a report of criminal damage to a bungalow in Sandown on the Isle of Wight.

The damage is believed to have been carried out sometime between 3pm and 4.55pm on Monday, June 13, 2011 at an address in The Fairway.

Brick thrown through window
Investigating officer PC Justin Clarke of the Isle of Wight’s Targeted Patrol Teams (TPT) said: “We’re making enquiries into a report of a brick being thrown through the front window of a bungalow. The brick landed on the floor in the lounge so anyone sitting in this room could have been hit. Thankfully no one was injured as the residents were not at home.

“The damage happened during a busy time of the afternoon in The Fairway while students and families from nearby schools were walking and driving in the area. I’m asking anybody who saw someone acting suspiciously or causing damage to contact me.”
