Following the positive identification of the man who body was found in a kayak on the beach in Sandown on 11th September, his name has now been released.
The family of 40 year old Morgan Savage from Dublin have been notified of his death.
Police say the post mortem, which carried out on 24th September, was inconclusive.
The coroner is awaiting histology results.
