Police are appealing for help from the public to find a man missing from his home at Ryde on the Isle of Wight since last night (Friday, September 13).
Brian Proctor, 51, has not been seen since 10pm when he left his home in Sutton Close, Ryde. He was reported missing by his wife this morning when he failed to return.
Officers are particularly concerned for his welfare because they believe he may harm himself.
He has left his car and phone at home. He is known to visit the beach at Ryde.
Description
He is described as:
- 6ft 1ins tall
- Balding with short grey hair at the sides
- Wearing a black t-shirt with white writing on it
- Blue jeans and black shoes
Police teams are today out searching together with colleagues from HM Coastguard.
Anyone who sees Mr Proctor or knows of their whereabouts should call Hampshire police on 101.
