A 37-year-old man from Shanklin, was arrested last night (Sunday) on suspicion of a breach of the peace.
Police were called to a house in North Road, Shanklin, shortly before 8pm following reports of a disturbance. They found the man, who was refusing to leave, was making threats of violence and suspected to be armed with a knife.
Taser was deployed by officers and the man was arrested.
