Quay Arts are excited to announce a new creative opportunity for young Isle of Wight creatives, we are looking for an Island creative aged 14 to 30-years-old to design our A.M.P. Showcase limited edition cassette’s j-card (JPO, 3 panel) cover, which will be produced by Chalkpit Cassette Club.
What the winner receives
The competition winner’s artwork will be used as the limited edition A.M.P. Showcase cassette J-card cover, be widely marketed via Quay Arts, A.M.P. and the CAN YOU HEAR US? Project with Creative Island, receive 1 x free copy of the cassette, and an invitation to the showcase with a plus one.
Celebrating ten years of the A.M.P. Fund
The A.M.P. Showcase will be platforming young Island creatives and celebrating ten years of Quay Arts Mike Howley Trust Funding on Saturday 12th September as part of the CAN YOU HEAR US? Project via Creative Island.
The Mike Howley Trust fund has recently been renamed to the A.M.P. Fund, with A.M.P. standing for Artists, Musicians and Performers.
This includes an exciting collaboration with Chalkpit Cassette Club, where a special edition A.M.P. Showcase Cassette will be made as part of the celebrations, featuring musician alumni from the last 10 years of Mike Howley Trust funding (newly named the A.M.P. Fund).
How to enter and key dates
The deadline is 11.59pm on Thursday 3rd September and the winner will be announced by Monday 7th September 2026.
All applicants artwork will be displayed and credited on the Quay Arts website under the A.M.P. Showcase event listing.
