Raffle prizes desperately needed for charity ball

Michaela shares this appeal with OnTheWight readers. Ed

With just over one month to go until the Prince & Princess Society Charity Ball, in aid of four local children’s charities, plans are now well underway to make it as successful as the two previous balls.

This year there will be a variety of entertainment and food throughout the night, along with a fun casino and other fundraising events.

Prizes for raffle needed
What we are desperately lacking in now is prizes for our main raffle, tombola and casino. If any Island business or individual are able to support in any way we are urging them to get in touch.

Raffle tickets alone normally raise well over £1,000 on the night and the more prizes we have available the higher that amount goes.

Volunteer-led
The event is organised and run by volunteers and all funds raised after expenses this year reach Beaulieu Respite, The Joe Ellis Trust, Kissypuppy – The Sophie Rolf Trust and Ability Dogs 4 Young People IW.

We also have a couple of tables which have become available for anyone who has not yet booked tickets for the night.
