We’ve seen this story floating around for a while, but Susanne got in touch with VentnorBlog to give us some more details on her novel approach to moving house.
She’s decided to put her home plus £5,000, up as a prize in a competition that’s starting this Friday.
The house in Totland, Isle of Wight that she describes as a spacious, Victorian, 4 bedroomed, semi-detached, freehold property could belong to the person who answers three questions about the Island and pays over £25 to enter.
There’s no restrictions on the number of tickets that can be bought and for those who don’t have online banking, they can post cheques in, using Royal Mail.
The intention is to sell 18,000 tickets, but if this isn’t reached, the competition will still take place and the winner will receive 70% of the ticket sales.
The competition opens at one minute past midnight, just into Friday the 19th September and closes on the 28th December 2008.
