A total of 53 staff will leave Red Funnel as part of the restructuring which was announced last month.
Red Funnel tell us that 36 members of staff have opted for voluntary redundancy.
A further 17 staff have been made redundant and, we’re told, will leave the company with enhanced packages above the statutory minimum.
James Fulford, CEO commented “I would like to express my thanks to staff leaving the business for their contribution and wish them every success in the future.”
Staff who are leaving have all been told that they will be able to apply for any seasonal positions that become available in the future.
