VB readers are being asked if they help locate a missing Falcon.
Jan from White Falconry has been in touch to let us know that a small Lanner falcon has been missing for 24 hours ago from Robin Hill.
It was tracked to the Havenstreet area where the tracking device was found cut off and hidden in hedge by the railway bridge.
There was no sign of the bird. The Police and RSPCA have been informed.
Reward being offered
A reward is being offered for information leading to recovery of the falcon.
The bird is friendly and might approach you looking for food. Jan has asked that you do not feed the bird as it has a specialised diet and other food may harm him.
