Rhythmtree Festival License Application Approved

It’s great to hear that organisers of the Rhythmtree Festival received confirmation last week that their license application for this year’s festival (20-22 July) has been successful without the need for a license committee hearing.

Rhythmtree logoAfter last year’s problems with a long license committee hearing and last minute court appeals, it must have been a big relief to organisers.

We went along last year and really enjoyed the vibe of the festival. We caught some great acts on the main stage and cafe tent and were impressed with the laid-back relaxing atmosphere.

A spokesperson told us, “Last year’s experience had very positive outcomes in the end. We could show that we were able to comply with all the additional conditions set upon us and then emerge a stronger and more effective organising team.”

Excellent news. It looks like these organisers are getting on on with the job, not like WOWfest, who are dragging their heels, just like the old Jazz Festival. Not surprising when you see who is on the board of WOWfest….

Not another festival…. ill be glad when this fad ends… non festival goers are a tad fed up with the relentless disruption they cause to our peaceful lives.
