RhythmTreeRhythmTree … an ‘Out of this World’ music festival on the Isle of Wight.

Now in its third year, the RhythmTree has firmly established itself as one of the most talked about small music festivals on the Isle of Wight.

Situated close to the village of Calbourne, the festival site (in a slightly different location to previous years) is in a beautiful rural location with ample car parking and camping areas.

Eclectic mix on offer
The eclectic musical mix on offer is attracting an ever increasing attendance from festival goers wanting to seek out some of the more unusual and ‘other worldly’ sounds from around the globe.

Just walking around you will come across didgeridoo and mbira players, samba percussionists, taiko, hang, djembe, dhol and tongue drummers, throat and overtone singers, human beat-boxers, native american flutists, jaw harpers and a wide selection of more familiar musicians all present because they are regularly included in the RhythmTree’s unique blend of music programming.

So… if you’re up for hearing afro-beat, bhangra, latin, reggae, folk, rock, blues, klezmer, world fusion, electronica, dub, hip hop and the completely undefinable all on stage during an evening this festival is for you.

Tickets
Adult weekend camping tickets are £65 each. If you want to bring a camper van, that’ll be an extra £25.

The festival welcomes all ages, weekend camping tickets for teenagers are £30 each (11-16yrs) and under 11s go free.

If you don’t fancy camping, day tickets are £25 per day.
