Rich HallGrouchy, deadpan comic genius Rich Hall will be performing his first show on the Isle of Wight as part of the opening night extravaganza of the first Isle of Arts Festival.

Brace yourselves for 90 minutes of passionate comedy laced with absurdist irony when Rich Hall – looking like a Pearl Jam roadie – kicks off the evening’s entertainments on Friday 15 April.

The star of the recent critically acclaimed BBC4 documentary, How the West Was Lost, Edinburgh fringe favourite and Perrier Award winner particularly likes to lay into Americans and life across the Pond at every opportunity.

He has performed his stand-up route at major comedy clubs in the UK and across the world and now he is coming to Ventnor.

What is the Isle of Arts Festival?
Encompassing the entire town, Isle of Arts will feature one or more headline events each day of the festival, combining music and other performing arts.

This will be supported by exhibitions and cultural events including arts, photography, comedy, drama, film and literature.

To find out more about the Festival, due to take place between 15-17 April this year, check out the Isle of Arts Website.
